LARGE LACE FAN, circa 1880. - Lot 69
LARGE LACE FAN, circa 1880. The bobbin lace leaf is symmetrically decorated with bunches of flowers. Mother-of-pearl goldfish openworked and engraved frame. Metallic belly strap and tassel of trimmings. Attached is a bone umbrella handle carved with foliage; a large folded fan, circa 1890, with a leaf decorated with flowers, goldfish mother-of-pearl frame; a small fan, circa 1900 with a yellow silk leaf, bone frame and a large fan, circa 1890, with a leaf decorated with steel sequins, wooden frame. Belonged to Countess Marie Rostan d'Ancezune (1867-1946). Accidents, missing items and restorations. H.t. : 28.7 cm - H.f. H.t.: 15 cm and miscellaneous. Provenance: Rostan d'Ancezune family.
