Elegant cartridges decorated with various modes and needle stitches, from which sprout supple branches of foliage and various flowers, finely worked in bobbins and needle-embroidered to underline their character, the network of the needle gauze stitch. Cream-coloured cotton. Dim. 1.90 m x 22 cm. (good condition, rare small spots) A deep border of fine handmade Point d'Angleterre Belgian lace dating from the last quarter of the 19th century. Floral motif finely worked in bobbin lace grounded with the ground of Point de Gaze needlepoint mesh. Cotton, cream in colour. Dim. 1.90 m x 22 cm. (good condition, a few little stains)
