Large folded fan, Chantilly de Bayeux, Lefébure, circa 1900. The very finely shaded Chantilly lace leaf is made of spindles decorated with large lilies au naturel, flowers on the edge, grenadine silk. Placed on a sheet of cream satin and lined with cream silk gauze (good condition, no broken hooks in the plumes, two small holes in the grid) Brown tortoiseshell frame* (good condition) Frame height: 34 cm Leaf height: 21 cm. In its original box covered with cream satin stamped in gold in the lid "LEFEBURE - DENTELLES, 8 rue de Castiglione PARIS" * Scale: Specimens made from the scales of sea turtles, Cheloniidae spp (I/A-CE), specimen known as pre-Convention prior to 01/06/1947 (EC Rule 338/97 of 9 Dec. 1996 art. 2 - W mc).
