Alençon lace handkerchief, needle, 2nd half of the 19th century. Broad frieze decoration of large oval medallions cutting the central linoleum adorned with flowers in the centre and surrounded by a string of trimmings, followed by small falling medallions scalloping the border. Light ivory-coloured cotton, horsehair in places. The wire center. (nice state) Handkerchief of French Alençon handmade needle lace dating from the 2ndhalf of the 19th century. Decorated with medallions all along the border and cartouches with floral design, cotton thread, light ivory colour. (very good condition)
