Two Point de Rose flounces, needle, Belgium, late 19th century. In Point de Gaze with floral decoration adorned with roses with detached petals for both, one with flexible cartouches adorned with fashions and supporting a rose, button and flower with a pearly heart at the top and a peony with detached petals at the bottom. Light ivory cotton. Dim. 2.75 + 0.55 = 3.25 m x 13 cm (fine condition, rare small orange markings) the other with a large oval cartouche decorated with fashion medallions and from which rises a supple twig with foliage and rosebuds ending in a large open rose with a pearly heart and double row of detached petals. Light ivory cotton. Dim. 2,55 m x 13 cm (good condition) Two deeps borders of handmade Belgian Rose Point de Gaze finely worked in needle point adorned with flowers in bloom, dating from the end of the 19th c. Cotton, light ivory colour Dim. 2,75 + 0,55 = 3,25 m x 13 cm (very good condition, a very few little stains) Dim. 2,55 m x 13 cm (very good condition)
