Triangular bridal shawl, application from England, 2nd half of the 19th century. Flexible mirror decoration with scrolls and long waving garlands of foliage and berries made with spindles and applied on cotton tulle, open flowers and loose cartridges decorated with needlework fashions. Cream cotton. Dim. 2.75 m x 1.37 m (good condition, one tear and very small holes scattered in the tulle) A triangular shaped shawl of Brussels lace dating from the 2nd half of the 19th century, fine patterns of handmade bobbin lace applied onto a cotton tulle. Cotton, cream in colour. Dim. 2.70 m x 1.36 m the widest. (good condition, a tear, a few little holes in the tulle)
