Two handkerchiefs and an embroidered square, 19th century Two large handkerchiefs in linen hand thread embroidered with plumetis and sand stitch hemmed with a Valenciennes with spindles, one embroidered with a large garland of tulips and a CC number in an angle, (rare pinholes or very small repeats) the other with a wide frieze of leaves and small flowering branches (good condition, one small repeat, rare pale spots) and a large square of cotton muslin embroidered with a different pattern in each corner, an umbrella seller, a lute player, a hound and a sheep near a wolf (small holes and repeats)
