Embroidered muslin with spread threads and various stitches, decorated with garlands of large flowers running along the border on all four sides and fleurons in each corner. (small accidents. and scattered recoveries) Dim. 1.80 m x 97 cm. See "Lace a History" Ms. Santina Levey. pl. 335 and 336 and "Embroidered with white" Ms. Heather Toomer. A table cloth of fine whitework on cotton muslin, Dresden stitch, Germany, middle of the 18th cent. White-cream in colour (some wears, scattered little holes and repairs) Dim. 1,80 m x 97 cm.
