Cap and beard bottoms, Brussels and Mechelen, spindles, circa 1750-60. Cap bottom in Brussels lace finely worked with bobbins, drochel network. (good condition, a few spots.) Dim. 26 cm x 22 cm, a beard of the same technique, and a beard in Mechelen lace (ptt acc. to the net). Lin. provenance: Barons and Counts van den Steen de Jehay, then by descent. Bonnet back of Brussels bobbin lace, about 1750-60. linen thread, (good condition, a few little stains) Dim. if laying flat: 26 cm x 22 cm, together with two pair of lappets, one of Brussels bobbin lace and one of Mechlin bobbin lace (some little holes to the ground) provenance: Barons and Counts van den Steen of Jehay.
