Brussels lace beards, bobbins, 1st half of the 18th century. Finely worked in light ivory-coloured linen. A pair of beards circa 1710-20 with dense patterns of blooming flowers, palms and foliage, Dim. 56 cm x 10 cm at widest each (accidents) and a beard circa 1750-60 with decorations of horns of plenty, flowering cup, foliage and blooming flowers on a drochel network, Dim. 59 cm x 12 cm at widest (small accidents, a repair) A pair of lappets dating from about 1710-20 with a dense motif of flowers in bloom and palms, Dim. 56 cm x 10 cm each (some holes) together with a lappet dating from about 1750-60 with cornucopias, vase, foliage and flowers in bloom grounded with the drochel ground, Dim. 59 cm x 12 cm (a few little holes, a repair) Linen thread, light ivory colour for both.
