Brussels lace beards, bobbins, circa 1700. Pair of beards and their matching passageways very finely worked with spindles, mirror decoration "à la Bérain" with motifs of candelabra, vases and bunches of flowers, scrolls and flexible cartridges, network with pitted flanges. Creamy linen. (a few accidents, a few freckles). See "The History of lace" Mrs Margaret Simeon, p.78, pl.81a.
