Eight spindle curbs, Flanders, 2nd half of the 17th century. With supple twigs in convolution punctuated with flowers decorated with various points and connected by braided bridles. Lin. Dim. three between 0.85 and 1.60 m long and five between 23 and 65 cm, width from 2.5 cm to 8.5 cm. (good condition, a few small stains) Provenance: Christie's sale, London, November 2002.
