Border from the Margaret Simeon collection, early 17th century. In-between in Reticella, needle cut stitch, and low border in fine bobbin lace. Creamy linen. Dim. 74 cm x 7cm (good condition) Provenance : Phillips sale, London, January 1992, Margaret Simeon collection. We join two lace interlinings with needleworked needlework with tight stitches on a bobbin thread frame.
