Long flying with the symbols of Christ, Brussels, 2nd half of the 19th century. Sumptuous ecclesiastical flywheel with very finely repeated decoration in spindles and needle: crucifixion cross with a heart pierced by an arrow and the monogram JHS in gauze stitch, crown of thorns, ciborium, ears of wheat, garland of flowers and large roses blooming in spindles, the petals decorated with fine, varied patterns in needlework, numeral MH in gauze stitch at each end. Motifs applied on a very fine straight network of spindles, a process rarely used during the second half of the 19th century.
