Saint Peter's in Rome and Roman ruins, circa 1780 Folded fan, the double leaf in cabretille, painted on a background of scrolls of three views evoking the trip called "Grand Tour". In the center, St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, and Bernini's colonnade. On the left, the tomb of Cecillia Metella and on the right, the temple of Vesta. Dumb reverse. Polished steel frame. The steel plumes decorated with faceted half pearls in the taste of the manufacturer Reynard Schey, supplier of the Parisian tabletiers from 1781. H.t. 26 cm - H.f. 13,2 cm (wear, restorations) In a modern gilded wood frame.
