Transparency of mica, circa 1770-1780 Folded fan, the cream silk leaf painted with garlands of laurels highlighted with silver thread in chain stitch. In the center, a young woman joined by her lover kneels before the altar of Love. On the sides, couples in love. Two small medallions are decorated with vases painted gold colors, under mica, imitating glass. Reverse side decorated with three painted cartels of flowers. Rich white mother-of-pearl mount pierced, engraved, burgundy and gilded with a gallant subject.H.t. 27,5 cm H.f. 12,5 cm (good condition, restorations)
