Feathers and straw, circa 1760 Very refined folded fan, the leaf in skin, mounted in English and painted with gouache on a blue background. Three cartels present landscapes along the water and a resting scene on the edge of a path. On both sides, rich and amazing ornament showing birds and flowers executed in feathers. Reverse: garden scene in the Chinese style. Ivory mounting finely cut and engraved with flowers and birds, and a gallant scene in the center. The strands are enhanced with flowers in natural or green tinted straw. The plumes carved with characters, on a blue silk background. H.t. 26,8 cm - H.f. 12,3 cm (small lacks, restorations, spots) Provenance: label with the reference 1852 of the former collection Henry-René d'Allemagne (1863-1950).
