Spring Bouquets, ca. 1750 Folded fan, the skin leaf painted with gouache of a garden open to a pond. A young woman braids garlands of flowers with a young man. A gardener is watching them while cutting roses. In the background on the right, a nice view on a country house. Wallpaper reverse of a milkmaid walking, a fisherman by the river and a vaporous landscape. White mother-of-pearl frame cut, engraved, gilded and painted in shades of blue, pink, green and purple, trophies and baskets of flowers in cartels. Resumption of the decoration in gilding on the reverse. H.t. 29,6 cm - H.f. 13,2 cm (wear, restoration)
