Sandalwood, China, 19th century Sandalwood fan of broken type decorated on both sides with miniatures. Each strand is hollowed out to accommodate a sheet of silk or colored paper, painted with a figure in silk clothing in relief, and with an ivory head, or an animal including a phoenix. Rehauts of green and purple sequins. Metal clasp and tassel of trimmings. H.t. 21,5 cm (good condition, slight lacks) In its original box covered with silk.
