Convertible, China, 19th century Folded fan, the paper sheet painted on the first register with a palace scene animated with 45 characters wearing silk clothes and an ivory head. On the second register, the two dogs of Phô in a pond landscape. The reverse side is painted on a silver background with pheasants among flowers and butterflies. In the center, a palace scene with 15 characters. Below, a second palace scene with 10 characters. Their clothes are in silk and their heads in ivory in relief. Black lacquered bamboo frame decorated with flowers and bats. Gilded metal clasp. H.t. 28 cm - H.f. 8,5 cm/H.f. 5 cm (cut leaves)
