Riverside landscape, China, ca. 1750 Folded fan, the double sheet of wallpaper of the banks of a river on which fishermen are gathered. A boat sails on the water to reach a city represented in the background. Defensive walls indicate an important city, spread over two banks. Reverse side painted with a flowering bush and a butterfly. Ivory frame finely pierced and engraved, on both sides, with bouquets of peonies and scrolls in cartels. The plumes pierced and carved with flowers and characters. H.t. 27,2 cm - H.f. 13,2 cm (cuts, small lacks, small accidents)
