Bumblebees foraging, circa 1920 Folded fan, the sheet of fabric dyed in shades and painted with lianas whose flowers are foraged by bumblebees. Signed right "Daillard". Reverse side mute. Engraved and gilded wood frame. Gilded metal belly. H.t. 35.3 cm-H.F. 26 cm (spots) AND *A fan is attached, the leaf painted with thistles. Mute back (restored) Bone frame pierced, engraved and gilded with thistle leaves. Silver plated metal belly. H.t. 25 cm-H.F. 17 cm (leaf wear)
