At nightfall, around 1790-1800 Rare folded fan, the double sheet of yellow dyed silk, engraved, painted and embroidered with steel sequins. In the centre, a street scene whose characters are marked by a letter, referring to a handwritten legend in Spanish on the upper edge of the cartel: A Son las ocho y quatro vereno B Favor al Rey C a los Mayos (?) D.E. A fuerza del amor / par la force de l'amour F. Por mi amanti (?) sadero (?) Reverse painted on black silk of three medallions including two still lifes in the taste of Lelong. Pink-stained ivory* frame, pierced, engraved and gilded with foliage, vases and flowers. H.t. 27 cm-H.F. 12,8 cm (missing, important wear of the leaf) N.B.: this leaf could refer to Spanish history. The colours of the red mount, and the yellow leaf are the colours of the kingdom since 1785.
