Travel kit, circa 1800 Rectangular in shape made of green leather bearing the label of Hébert, a merchant at the Palais-Royal in Paris "galerie de Bois n°258/ Et galerie de Pierre N°20, côté de la rue de la Loi". Opening on one side on an inkwell, and on the other side on various instruments including an ivory thimble*, two small knives in mother-of-pearl and bone, and a bone ear pick/toothpick. W. 12.5 cm Th. 3.5 cm N.B.: Hébert was a dealer in necessities and wallets in the galleries of the Palais-Royal in Paris.
