Arte povera, 18th century Rectangular cardboard box. Lid with cut off sides. Painted in red and decorated with cut, coloured and varnished engravings, "arte povera", showing horsemen, a troupe of actors, villages and harvesters. Mark of the German engraver "Mart. Engelbrecht ex". "«316». The inside is made of white paper. L. 15 x w. 9 x h. 8 cm (worn) N.B.: Martin Engelbrecht (1684-1756) worked in Augsburg, Germany.
