A canvas hanging painted in the taste of 17th century tapestries, circa 1840, a biblical scene (?) representing a king in his palace distinguishing a young man standing at the foot of his throne and giving him a precious necklace. Border with rosette motifs, monogrammed cartouches with spandrels and episcopal coat of arms on top identical to those of a set of hangings decorating the Bishop's Palace in Brixen in Tyrol, 232 x 268 cm.
