Rectangular in shape, brown tortoiseshell, centrally decorated with a miniature portrait painted on ivory and preserved under a curved glass in a gold frame depicting Emperor Napoleon I, posing slightly three-quarter-length in the uniform of colonel of the Imperial Guard mounted chasseurs, wearing the plaque and grand cordon of the Order of the Legion of Honor, the cross of the Legion of Honor and the insignia of the Order of the Iron Crown, set in arabesques and floral motifs set with diamond roses and Rhinestone. Minor hinge damage, good overall condition. French First Empire period. H. 2 cm - W. 9 cm - D. 5.5 cm.
