DIMITRI PAVLOVICH, Grand Duke of Russia (1891-1942). Cane that belonged to the Grand Duke and was kept as a souvenir by his friend Prince Felix Youssoupoff. Embellished with a silver pommel engraved with his monogram D (Dimitri) under an imperial crown, mounted on a blackened wooden shaft. Title stamp: London, 1929. Goldsmith's hallmark: Brigg. Weathered, as is. L.: 91 cm - Diam.: 2.5 cm Provenance: this cane was preciously kept by Prince Félix Youssoupoff in memory of his dear friend, Grand Duke Dimitri, with whom he had assassinated Rasputin.
