Official menu for the grand dinner held on May 23, 1896, to celebrate the coronation of Emperor Nicholas II and his wife, Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow. Cyrillic text printed on bristol board, with polychrome decoration enhanced with silver and gold, illustrated with a herald carrying the imperial scepter against a background of a view of the Kremlin palace, lithograph signed Lingkart, printed in Moscow by A. A. Levenson. Preserved under glass in a modern natural wood frame. Minor foxing, but overall good condition. Sight: H.: 33 cm - W.: 24 cm. Case: H.: 43.5 cm - W.: 33.5 cm
