Set of six notebooks and diaries belonging to Countess Aurélie de Limburg-Stirum (1909-2002) and her sister Countess Louise de Limburg-Stirum (1910-1984), containing dedications, autograph signatures, drawings and handwritten annotations, dating from 1923 to 1926. Text in English and German. Leather bindings, various sizes. Also included is Mary Newland's New York bible, dated 1898, 276 pages, gilt edges, with handwritten inscriptions on title page and end of volume, bound in black grained leather, with her name in gold lettering in the center of the cover; a leather business card case and a green leather wallet framed with a gold frieze, silver clasp set with a diamond rose.
