PHOTOGRAPHIC FRAME. CREPEL, London, 1899. Rectangular, rocaille style, in chased and repoussé silver with foliage and arabesque decoration, surmounted by a double-headed eagle topped by a crown and on the lower part by a crossed sword and scepter, containing under glass a portrait of Emperor Nicholas II and his son the young Tsarevich Alexis, with easel stand on ebony wood back. Slight age-related wear, but overall good condition. Title stamp: London, 1899. Goldsmith's hallmark: S.C.: Sebastian Crepel II. Sight: H.: 7 cm - W.: 6 cm. Frame: H.: 14.5 cm - W.: 10 cm.
