Gouache on cardboard, inscribed "Walt Disney" lower right. Stamped "bon pour accord A. Bigle" on the back. Armand Bigle was an important member of the Disney company. Born in 1917, a Frenchman, he was hired by the Opera Mundi agency to manage the business in France and Belgium of its head, Paul Wincler, creator of Mickey's Journal. He met Walt Disney in person, and went on to represent Disney's interests in Benelux, Switzerland, France, and later all of Europe and the Middle East...
