Reunion of needlepoint lace, France and Italy, late 17th and 1st third of the 18th century. Large collar cut in the 19th century from a Point de France flounce circa 1700, with motifs of twigs in circumvolution and flowers decorated with picot embroidery in excess thickness, two borders in Argentan, one circa 1730-40 decorated with covered pots and large cartouches of great finesse, Dim. 2.30 m x 11 cm (bleached, accidents) and one circa 1750-60 decorated with cornucopia, floating branches and cartouches with varied modes, Dim. 1.30 m x 7.5 cm (accidents, bleached) to which we enclose a border in Coraline with small over-thick embroidery, Dim. 90 x 6.5 cm (washed).
