Chest of drawers in sycamore, rosewood, amaranth and ebony veneer with quartefoil marquetry decoration, opening to three drawers in front, the pinched uprights terminating in small cambered feet. Chased and gilded bronze ornamentation, Aleppo Breche marble top. Transition period. Stamped twice C.C.SAUNIER and JME hallmark, label on back inscribed in ink "Frances Lady Kinnaird". Claude Charles Saunier, received Master in 1752. Height : 86 cm - Width : 102.5 cm - Depth : 40.5 cm (small accidents and missing veneer) Provenance: Frances Victoria (née Clifton) Frances Victoria (née Clifton), Lady Kinnaird (1817-1910), according to the label on the back of the chest.
