Ecuelle and its lid with silver appliques; the plain body is decorated with two ears with ornaments characteristic of the Regency period: shells, scrolls, acanthus falls, fleurons. The lid, with doucine, is bordered with gadroons. The terrace is decorated with alternating appliques of lanceolate leaves and openwork lambrequins on an amatized background. Finally, a mobile handle with scrolls serves as a grip. The body and the underside of the lid engraved with the letters I.M. Master goldsmith unidentified Bordeaux 1724-1725 Small wear and tear and formerly repolished Diameter : 18,3 cm Length 30,5 cm Weight 847 g Model comparable to the Bordeaux covered bowl by Arnaud Guyotie dated 1712-1714/1714-1717 from the former Stéphane Faniel collection (Jean-Marc Delvaux study, Drouot sale 29 March 2022, lot n°39)
