China porcelain cover pot with white and blue decoration of flowered branches of Kangxi period (1662 - 1722) (cracks, pierced bottom filled in with lead). Gilt bronze mounting, the handles in the shape of lion's heads holding a ring, on an openwork pilaster with a fleur-de-lis motif, resting on a circular base with a gadroon motif. Regency period. H. : 20,5 cm, D. : 22,5 cm Notes: Two covered vases coming from the former Léon Levy collection (sale at Sotheby's in Paris on October 2, 2008, lot 15) had a similar mounting. A pair of covered vases with similar decoration from the former Jaime Ortiz-Patiño collection was sold at Sotheby's in New York, April 25, 1998, lot 232 ; another pair, covered, was sold at Sotheby's in New York, November 5, 1998, lot 257A
