BAND AID: 1 bottle of Bordeaux wine - Réserve Exceptionnelle - Lot 14
BAND AID: 1 bottle of Bordeaux wine - Réserve Exceptionnelle 1985 numbered 20661, bottled by Nicolas on the occasion of the Band Aid concert at Wembley, organised by Bob Geldof on 13 July 1985. With the participation of Status Quo, Style Council, Boomtown Rats, Ultravox, Spandau Ballet, Elvis Costello, Nik Kershaw, Sade, Sting, Phil Collins, Howard Jones, Bryan Ferry, Paul Young, Alyson Moyet, U2, Dire Strait, Queen, David Bowie, The Who, Elton John, Wham and Paul Mc Cartney. Text by Thierry Nicolas, on the label on the back of the bottle: In the Sahel, what is more important than water? Water is the condition of life. That is why I have decided to support the efforts of the Band Aid association with Nicolas wines, so that you and we can participate in the construction of the Diala Tintam dam and the development of the Noumbori basin in the inner delta of the Niger River in Mali. I have personally selected this exceptional reserve for you from the remarkable 1985 vintage. This very fine wine, perfectly balanced, very tender, has a lot of fullness and length. The profits from the sale of this wine will be donated in full to Band Aid. 1 program of 96 pages, in French, published by VSD. Format 27x37. Rare and sought after.
