The storks of French Alsace, circa 1918 Very large folded fan, a rare historical souvenir, the paper sheet painted with gouache of a stork in flight holding in its beak a tricolored bouquet composed of a carnation, a daisy and a poppy. She joins her nest on top of the bell tower of a church, perhaps the cathedral of Strasbourg? Signed on the right "F. Lucot". Wooden frame painted in white. Ornamented on the plume of a tricolour cockade in fabric. Metal hanger. Signed on the back of the Parisian fan maker "Ernest Kees". H.t. 46 cm-H.f. 30 cm (good condition, wear) In its original cardboard box bearing under the lid the address of Ernest Kees 9 boulevard des Capucines in Paris.
