Diana and her nymphs, ca. 1760 Folded fan, the leaf in skin, mounted in English, and painted with gouache after the "Bath of Diana" by Antoine Coypel (1661-1722). Diana wearing a crescent moon, in an undergrowth, is surrounded by her nymphs. Small chinoiseries in camaïeu on the sides. Chinese inspired scene on the reverse with a woman offering a basket of flowers to a man in a garden. Ivory frame* very finely pierced and engraved with geometrical patterns and three labels. Two scenes of oriental inspiration on either side of a pastoral. H.t. 26,8 cm H.f. 12 cm (good condition, very slight lacks)
