Straw marquetry, circa 1770-1780 Folded fan, cream silk sheet painted with a central cartel where a gallant declares his love to his beloved. Bouquets of roses on the sides and large coloured volutes, opened thanks to a fine network reminiscent of the "catgut", enhanced with mother-of-pearl sequins. The contours of the cartels of the face on the reverse. Very fine strands of ivory* pierced, engraved and gilded alternating with strands enhanced with pink and green straw. H.t. 27,3 cm / H.f. 12,3 cm (rest., cuts in the leaf)
