EMMANUEL, prince d'Orléans, duc de Vendôme (1872-1931) Set of 2 L.A.S.: "E. d'Orléans", addressed to Count Jean Laffleur de Kermaingant (1888-1981), dating from 1914, various formats. Enclosed is 1 L.A.S. from Countess Boyer de Rouillane, a telegram, a greeting card signed by the Duke and Duchess of Vendôme, a postcard signed: "Henriette, Emmanuel, Marie-Louise", an autograph letter signed by Princess Marie-Louise d'Orléans (1896-1973), daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Vendôme, dated 31 August 1913. Text: - August 31, 1913: "Here the weather is wonderful, we can take long walks in the surroundings with our guests, Archduchess Marie Josépha came at the beginning of the month, with the Prince and Princess of Liechtenstein, my aunt Princess Frédérique de Hohenzollern has just left us, at the moment the Countess of Boissieu is here with two of my grandmother's ladies.
