ASSEMBLY IN VERMEIL OF THE TABLE SERVICE OF THE DUC D'ORLÉANS. Engraved on the top of the marli des Armes of Louis-Philippe, future king of the French, then Duke of Orleans (1773-1850) on a background of flags, bordered by a frieze of finely chiselled palmettes. Weathered, but good general condition. Title stamp: 1er Coq, Paris, 1798-1809. Goldsmith's mark: C J key (probably Guillaume Julien). Diameter : 23 cm. Weight : 421 g.
