Beards and back of cap, needle, France, 2nd half of the 18th century. A pair of beards, a beard and a hat bottom in Alençon lace, circa 1770-90, with delicate motifs of fine flowers and small medallions linked by the Argentan network with fine scalloped flanges, linen. And two borders in Argentan, ca. 1750-60, with flexible flowering branches, one with fashionable ribbons, Dim. 2 m x 8 cm (good condition) the other with large sprays of flowers in bunches, Dim. 1,60 m x 7 cm (washed, a join, scattered little holes) A pair of lappets, a bonnet back and a lappet of French Alençon-Argentan handmade needle lace dating from about 1770-90 (a few little stains or fine repairs) Together with two borders of French Argentan handmade needle lace dating from about 1750-60, Dim. 2 m x 8 cm (good condition) and 1,60 m x 7 cm (washed, a join, scattered little holes)
