Rare eagle borders, Valenciennes and Mechelen, bobbin lace, circa 1750. In continuous thread bobbin lace, the Valenciennes is decorated with a potted fruit tree with two butterflies flapping, between two large eagles with outstretched wings, round-meshed net, Dim. 75 cm x 3,5 cm (good condition, one seam) and Mechelen with decoration of a group of houses in a country landscape and a bird in flight, "Eis" network with braided mesh, Dim. 45 cm x 3 cm (stains and restorations, three seams) Two borders of handmade bobbin lace with eagles motifs dating from about 1750. One of Valenciennes adorned with a potted fruit tree with two fluttering butterflies between two eagles, Dim. 75 cm x 3,5 cm (good condition, a joint) One of Mechlin adorned with houses in a rural landscape and a birds in flight, , Dim. 45 cm x 3 cm (stains, some repairs, three joins)
