Love according to the gods, ca. 1770-1780 Folded fan, the skin sheet mounted in English style and painted on a beige background with five medallions. Among garlands of flowers, two medallions are painted with ships in purple cameo. In the center, the butterfly-winged god Zephyr presents himself to Flora in her garden. On the left, Meleager offers the head of the boar Calydon to Atalanta. On the right, Daphne transforms herself into a tree under Diana's eyes while Apollo pursues her. White mother-of-pearl mounting richly engraved, silvered and gilded with doves and altars of Love recalling the subject of the leaf.
