Moses saved from the waters, circa 1700 Skin fan leaf, painted with gouache. On a black background, the young Moses is taken in by Pharaoh's daughter. Her maids are around her. The composition is based on the work of Nicolas Poussin (1594-1665) dating from 1647. Black and silver border (oxidized). On the reverse side, a luxuriant bouquet of flowers composed of roses, tulips, narcissus and lily of the valley. H.f. 18 cm L. 51 cm
