Folded fan, the leaf in skin, mounted in the English style and painted with Venus receiving Adonis, while lovers assist them. One holding a dog on a leash.
The reverse is painted with a gallant couple in a country setting.
When closed, the fan features a bird painted on the upper edge.
White mother-of-pearl frame, pierced, carved, engraved, burgued, silvered and gilded with Salomon and the Queen of Sheba.
